My UX Adventure: From Cold Calls to Crafting Apps for Airlines
My journey into user experience design began at Verizon Superpages, transitioning from a web developer to an interactive web designer in 2005. Tasked with introducing website design options to new customers, I discovered a passion for crafting meaningful online experiences.
Engaging in cold calls initially, I transformed these interactions into lasting business partnerships, designing websites during the early days of the online boom. Unknowingly, I was already applying user experience methodologies and conducting interviews to enhance clients' online presence.
In 2013, a pivotal moment in Portland I reshaped my UX path. Collaborating with Larry Tessler, co-founder of Apple, on the first connected TV streaming app at Sharp Labs of America ignited my passion for exceptional user experiences.
Since then, I've dedicated myself to UX, contributing to successful apps for Allegiant Airlines and leading global responsive web designs for prestigious brands like Santander Consumer USA and Trend Micro. My journey reflects a deep commitment to creating innovative and user-centric design solutions.
